In The Tyranny of King Washington DLC episode 3, there is one lucid memory artifact showing the moment of Desmond's death. That could mean that he is alive because those artifacts might actually show what Desmond saw, not Connor. And like in previous AC games, when we start new game Desmond's name is offered, unlike Black Flag and Unity which does not have Desmond as a protagonist. 93.139.157.65 01:26, December 24, 2014 (UTC)

How many times does Ubisoft have to remind people. DESMOND IS DEAD. Get over it. It's been stated repeatedly.--Bovkaffe (talk) 01:30, December 24, 2014 (UTC)

The Apple of Eden Theory

Yet another theory states that in Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, there is an accessable video from Abstergo Entertainment showing the scientists performing an autopsy on Desmond Miles's body. The theory states that as Desmond was wielding the Apple of Eden before his death, he made a clone of himself and escaped. It also makes a lot of sense knowing that in AC3 that he was tired of being a "puppet, always being told to do this, and that". But this theor

y may not be true because of the lack of evidence. Carbheat3 (talk) 04:14, December 24, 2014 (UTC)

  1. Desmond is dead
  2. Apples cannot clone people; that's not how they work
  3. I've yet to see a "Desmond survived" theory that isn't desperately flawed

How many goddamn times...

He's dead. Abstergo team even harvested his organs, visible on the autopsy video. Pretty sure lack of lungs and possibly heart puts a damper on this whole "living" thing. And even if he survived that, which he didn't, they subsequently put him in a plastic bag for storing corpses - those things are airtight for a reason, so he'd have suffocated anyway. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 14:16, December 24, 2014 (UTC)

I have known and Heard many times that he is dead...

I totally believe that he's dead, butthese are just theories. I have collected some new evidence earlier and the result was surprising. Well, on the AC: Initiates page it shows a picture of the scientists dragging away Desmond's "Body".

As you can see, his Bag and his hidden blade are there, but his Apple isn't either. Well to correct Crimson Eagle, The App

Ezio using the apple in AC2 to create clones of himself to defeat the borgia before entering the vault, but later each of them were KIA's.

le of Eden can be used to create duplicates or clones that are real and living. For example, in AC2 Ezio used his Apple to make four clones of himself and they were all attacking Borgia. Carbheat3 (talk) 14:46, December 24, 2014 (UTC)

Right, because I haven't played AC2. Those were projections, not clones. --Crimson Knight Intercom 15:05, December 24, 2014 (UTC)
That Apple did not "make" four new Ezios. Those were projections, they weren't real. The Apple is not a cloning device, but a manipulation device. Crook The Constantine District 14:49, December 24, 2014 (UTC)
I know that the Apple is a manipulation device, in the games I've seen it being used many times to contol and destroy people. In my opinion, projections can't fight and have a definite mass or else the Borgia would swing his staff straight through them. Carbheat3 (talk) 14:55, December 24, 2014 (UTC)

If you know he's dead, why do you keep making theories that he isn't?--Bovkaffe (talk) 14:58, December 24, 2014 (UTC)

Well the point really is to keep the page going so when visiter reads this page there will be many theories information that will entertain them and interest the reader to maybe join the wiki or visit more often. Do you know what I mean? I love the Assassin's Creed Wiki!!! Carbheat3 (talk) 15:11, December 24, 2014 (UTC)

All I wanted to say is: Desmond's body is dead but his mind is alive and he is reliving those memories after his "death". 93.139.155.27 09:29, December 25, 2014 (UTC)
