Hello, I remember reading about how the "Game templates at the bottom of articles are eyesore with subjects that appear in many games". And I completely agree. For example, the bottom of the Assassins article is a mess.

So, I have a relatively elegant solution: Introducing the Media Template(patent pending)! Using revolutionary WikiMedia technology copied straight from the Resident Evil Wiki, all those pesky navboxes are in one small, easily concealable place!

"How does it work?" I hear you ask. Well, let me tell you! Using the magic of the "#if" argument, you can add any of the preinstalled media navboxes in! So for example if you were to add the following to your article:

{{Media Template|AC=yes|ACIV=yes|ACP=yes}}

you'd get a navbox filled the navboxes for Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Assassin's Creed: Pirates!

You can see a very handsome example Right HERE!

But in all seriousness, this could be used to replace the navboxes, once moved to mainspace. How about it?

So basically it's a giant tabber. I like the idea, saves space if nothing else, if you can make it work. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 01:40, October 5, 2014 (UTC)

Certainly looks promising. Nesty Contact me! 16:01, October 5, 2014 (UTC)

It looks interesting...if it were actually needed. Is there really a point to switching to this while we're waiting on the IU navboxes? Stormbeast The Helpful Place 19:45, October 5, 2014 (UTC)

Only the contents will change in the navboxes, so the IU argument isn't really relevant. Putting this code in would save on needless space we have to use by putting each navbox in the new line. If we don't use this, it would be comparable to having a navbox that doesn't collapse - large, unwieldy and space-wasting. --Kainzorus Prime Walkie-talkie 21:08, October 5, 2014 (UTC)
Okay, I just don't like how bulky it is. Better argument than OOU? I don't like the idea of templates within templates. Stormbeast The Helpful Place 21:12, October 5, 2014 (UTC)

I think it is, at the very least, an idea to keep in mind. IU boxes can also benefit from this once they have been implemented, I imagine. Although, of course, we first need to see how they work out. Let's not scrap this idea yet, though... Nesty Contact me! 20:43, October 5, 2014 (UTC)

For my personal take on this, it seems like a shell to compact the navboxes in, just so that at the end of a page, there's theoretically one navbox to open. The functionality of it could be more aligned with our current method of using Era templates, as I feel that using "ACIV=yes" etc. defeats most of the purpose of just typing them all out between some template brackets. The black background does look a little gaudy, but that's just a matter of code tweaks too I believe. Slate Vesper (talk) 23:31, October 5, 2014 (UTC)
