I want u guys to hear me out cause i know that some people will start making some hateful comments.

if u see the trailers of revelation, in one of them Ezio says that hes looking for Altairs knowledge also acknowledging him as legendary (if im correct with the specific word). Till now we've seen only Ezio perform quite awsum stunts and pull off some crazy things. the reason we dont know much about altair is cause we havent seen him anywhere after the first game and so we dont really know how awsum he was. and if Ezio beng what he is says that Altair was awsum them im guessing he really was.

Altair is my favourite assassin and the one that has the biggest legacy most of his work is in his codex, he played a big role in how the assassins were formed in Europe and the American colonies and probebly even further. Allot of his inspiration was from experimenting with his apple of eden. He created the hidden gun, poison darts, assassinating enemies from different positions and hiding spots and allot more.

I think we should have been in more games than just AC1 and Revelations.Hassan-i Sabbā (talk) 00:21, August 31, 2014 (UTC)

I'd object to the "only Ezio performs awesome stunts"; any Assassin we've played as has done something or other remarkable. But yes, I'd wager Altaïr, to this day, remains the Assassin most critical to the Order's development, followed closely by Ezio.

Also, to correct your statement that we've only seen Altaïr in Assassin's Creed: please take a look at Assassin's Creed: Altaïr's Chronicles, Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines and Assassin's Creed: The Secret Crusade. :) We've seen more of him than many people realize.
