Final Offering was a virtual representation of one of Eivor Varinsdottir's genetic memories, relived by Layla Hassan through the Portable Animus HR-8.5.
Description[]
Eivor met with Sunniva to start the main offering event.
Dialogue[]
Eivor met with Sunniva by the docks.
- Sunniva: Eivor. It is good you are here. We are ready to make our offering.
- Eivor: Is it ready?
- Sunniva: Everything you gathered is in the boat. They are preparing it now to be sent to the gods.
- Eivor: Which god will be receiving our bounty?
- Sunniva: I leave that choice to you. You can send the offering to Thor, god of strength and thunder. Or our Lady Freyja the Beautiful.
- Eivor: A difficult choice.
- Sunniva: Perhaps you should make the offering to the god who speaks most to you.
- Sunniva: The honor and glory is yours, Eivor. Take your place at the springald and light the flame that calls to the gods! Here is something to add to your enjoyment of Sigrblot. A gift from your clan.
Sunniva gave Eivor a brazier and an idol modeled after the god she chose. Eivor fired against the boat.
- Eivor: The offering is made. May the gods smile upon us!
Outcome[]
Eivor started the final offering and decided to which god it was offered to, Baldr, Freyja, or Thor.
Behind the scenes[]
The rewards of this mission depend on what choice has been made regarding the god that has been offered to. The player receives a brazier decoration schematic for the settlement based on that specific god as well as a small carved wooden idol. The other two braziers can be bought from Norvid's shop afterwards, so all three can be gained.
