The Silent Assist was a virtual representation of one of Arbaaz Mir's genetic memories, relived by a research analyst at Abstergo Entertainment through the Helix Navigator.
Description[]
Arbaaz Mir arrived in Herat and decided to help the Afghan forces, hoping they would keep the Templars occupied and distracted.
Dialogue[]
- Arbaaz: Herat... is there really another temple around here? The Afghans have not taken too kindly to the British occupying the Citadel. They are going to get picked off one by one out here... unless... If I could take down those towers and open that gate... Nothing like a little war to create a distraction.
Arbaaz infiltrated the Citadel.
- Guard 1: Don't concern yourself with any of the dead, just make sure the Afghans don't break through.
- Guard 2: Good shooting, men! Keep it up!
- Guard 3: The Afghans have spirit, sir, but they will never break out lines.
Arbaaz started traversing the Citadel wall.
- Guard 4: Keep them pinned down! No Afghan is to make it to the castle walls.
The Assassin reached the first tower.
- Arbaaz: If I could blow up the ammo cache, that would take out the tower. One of these guards must have the key...
- Guard 5: We need to hold this castle until the Major is done.
- Guard 6: What's the supply situation?
- Guard 7: We've got plenty. DO you think we'll need it?
- Guard 6: No, but it's never a bad thingto be prepared.
Arbaaz managed to blow up the tower and escape to a different part of the Citadel.
- Arbaaz: Now the guards are looking for me. I have to be careful.
Arbaaz made his way inside.
- Arbaaz: Extinguishing those lamps should help me pass unseen.
Eventually Arbaaz encountered a cannon.
- Arbaaz: These cannons could prove useful.
- Guard 8: Keep the Afghans back, they mustn't retake this castle.
- Guard 9: Yes, sir. We will make sure noon of them get close.
The Assassin managed to take out another tower.
- Arbaaz: They weren't expecting that, were they?!
Finally, Arbaaz arrived at the Citadel's main gate.
- Arbaaz: I need to take out these guards before their reinforcements arrive...
- Guard 10: Well, as long as they stay there, then I've got no problem with them.
- Guard 11: Well, I'm not going on my own... that's just asking for trouble.
- Guard 12: Calm down. Just watch my back. As long as you do that, I've got yours.
- Guard 13: We need to hold this gate until the reinforcements arrive! Then no one will get through!
- Guard 14: You don't think the Assassin we had in here will come back to this way, do you?
- Guard 15: Who knows... All I know is that until he's dead, things will be a bit tense around here. Everyone will be on alert.
- Guard 14: That's what they do... vanish like thieves in the night. Bet they'll double the patrols now. We'll be on duty for hours.
Arbaaz eliminated the guards defending the castle gate.
Outcome[]
Arbaaz Mir opened the Citadel's gate, allowing the Afghans to enter and keep the Templar forces occupied.
