Domitian (Latin: Titus Flavius Caesar Domitianus Augustus; 24 October 51 – 18 September 96) was Roman Emperor from 81 to his death. He was the third and last Emperor of the Flavian dynasty.

In 81, Domitian succeeded his brother Titus as Emperor. The following year, he built the Arch of Titus to honor his deceased brother and commemorate his victory in the Sack of Jerusalem.[1] In approximately 87, Domitian completed construction of the Temple of Vespasian and dedicated it both to Vespasian and Titus.[2]
