Daidalos' Statue of Herakles
The Daidalos' Statue of Herakles was a statue of the Greek hero Herakles in Arkadia. Situated near the Lykosoura Ruins at the border of Arkadia and Messenia, the statue was said to have been created by Daidalos, a famous artist and inventor.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War, the statue was used as a place of worship, and it was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra.[2]
