They call me many things: Murderer. Cutthroat. Thief. But you may call me Centime. This article is about a subject that lacks an official name and is known only by its nickname, title, or alias. |
Centime (died 1889) was the name of a gang leader and French Templar who operated in the Belleville neighborhood of Paris.
In 1889, Centime was an assassination target assigned by the Parisian Assassin leader Michel Moulin to Simeon Price, following his return from Russia after the events surrounding the Templar Konstanze von Visler in Zürich. After being betrayed by his men and confronted in a tavern down the Julien-Lacroix Street, Centime claimed to care nothing for the Templars and offered his services and men to Simeon, which Simeon refused and promptly stabbed him in the heart.[1]
