I fear that this category may be too broad. In addition, although colloquially ''author'' refers to a published writer in English, it actually can refer to the creator of any work. I remember I was corrected on this by my French teacher once upon a time in high school, for both French and English. :We can Try to break it down into further subcategories like novelist, biographer, journalist, etc but I think there will be a lot of overlap. [[User:Lacrossedeamon|Lacrossedeamon]] ([[User talk:Lacrossedeamon|talk]]) 20:00, September 1, 2020 (UTC) |

Too broad and inaccurate
I fear that this category may be too broad. In addition, although colloquially author refers to a published writer in English, it actually can refer to the creator of any work. I remember I was corrected on this by my French teacher once upon a time in high school, for both French and English. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 17:54, September 1, 2020 (UTC)
