Armor vs. armors[]
Properly, armor plural is still armor because it is normally an uncountable noun. When discussing individual pieces of armor, armor should not have an -s ending. The exception is when armor refers to type of armor, such as helmet vs. greaves, in which case armor is a countable noun and needs an -s to be pluralized. A category at "Types of armors" is not correct. It should be either "armors" or "types of armor", and this category in itself should be "armor" not "armors". This will take so much work correcting. A little correction, armor can be treated as a countable noun when discussing collections of armor or sets of armor, therefore armors as well. However, when discussing individual pieces of sets of armor, it should be an uncountable noun. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 17:23, April 29, 2019 (UTC)
- I agree. Using "Types of armor" and "armor" is a lot better, i'm fine with changing those categories. Kennyannydenny (talk) 18:44, April 29, 2019 (UTC)
- The question then, is if we should still keep Category:Armors specifically for pages on entire armor sets, as this was what it was actually created for originally, or, to forestall any confusion, create a Category:Armor sets for armor sets instead. - Maybe it's better to create an armor sets category to avoid confusion. Kennyannydenny (talk) 21:13, April 29, 2019 (UTC)
