Just things out of place, or do we count into this also stuff with anachronistic names? Sadelyrate (siniath) 16:56, February 18, 2019 (UTC)

Can you give an example? I'm thinking about modifying the category text to limit it to historical anachronisms. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 17:06, February 18, 2019 (UTC)
Pavlopetri, Sword of Damokles are what first come to mind. Sadelyrate (siniath) 17:14, February 18, 2019 (UTC)
In those instances, I would say no (though there no reason we cannot retain the BtS mentions). The names are given from a Modern day perspective, so it's all historical. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 08:58, February 19, 2019 (UTC)
What about them saying Siwa instead of Sekht-am? That's not from a Modern Day perspective unless you attribute it to the Animus translation software. 09:35, February 19, 2019 (UTC)
Again, reference it in the BtS section. Siwa's (or Sekht-am's) appearance in-game isn't anachronistic, even if the use of the name is. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 10:50, February 19, 2019 (UTC)

Septimius's Flail

Seeing as this item seems to have Isu origins, is this one really an anachronism? Lacrossedeamon (talk) 02:21, February 19, 2019 (UTC)

I'd agree that it is not. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 08:58, February 19, 2019 (UTC)

Kirrha

As a city Kirrha was razed after the First Sacred War and wasn’t rebuilt until sometime after Odyssey took place. I’m not really sure if that falls under this though because that isn’t an Animus related anachronism but more like a dev mistake. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 12:42, February 19, 2019 (UTC)

I'd say that counts. Its appearance is historically 'out-of-time' (like the Cathedral of Havana). --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 12:55, February 19, 2019 (UTC)
And what about it’s residents like Elpenor or Sargon? Or is that getting too far into the weeds? Lacrossedeamon (talk) 13:09, February 19, 2019 (UTC)
Fictional characters and locations cannot be anachronistic, as they do not have a real-world counterpart (even if they are based on a real-world individual/location). --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 13:34, February 19, 2019 (UTC)
