Boston North – Gangs was a virtual representation of one of Ratonhnhaké:ton's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus 3.0.[1]
Memory Animus Feedback System[]
Description[]
Ratonhnhaké:ton met with a contact to see how to diminish Templar influence in the area.
Dialogue[]
Connor met Duncan Little in a tavern in Boston.
- Duncan: So you're the lad. Neighborhood could use more men of action like yourself.
- Connor: My name is Connor.
- Duncan: That's a lovely name for a man from Wales. What's your real name?
- Connor: Ratonhnhaké:ton...
- Duncan: A strong name—you should use it. Mine's Duncan, plain as they come. If you've the time to spare, I'd urge you to keep on doing what you're doing. This infernal gang needs to be stopped.
Connor approached Duncan again.
- Duncan: How's it going, lad? I imagine you're busy these days, not much has changed with regards to our local thugs. I'll leave you to it.
Connor came upon a mercenary harassing a merchant.
- Mercenary: Empty that purse.
- Civilian: God forsaken thugs!
- Mercenary: If you want to catch a beating, get closer.
He approached and one of the thugs took off running.
- Mercenary: You won't catch him!
Connor killed the fleeing thug, then came upon another merchant being held in stocks by thugs.
- Mercenary: Come on! Hit! I'll give you a real shot.
You hit like a dandy.
Keep talkin' and see where it gets ya.
He dealt with the thugs and freed their captive. After having helped the merchants, Connor returned to Duncan.
- Duncan: Your work is bearing fruit, my boy, and I'm close to figuring out who's orchestrating this ugly symphony. But something's got people spooked beyond the usual gang stuff. Odd. Anyway, keep on it.
Outcome[]
Ratonhnhaké:ton's actions left the Templars open to one final confrontation for the area.
Behind the scenes[]
This mission, as well as the other Liberation events, is not included in the DNA progress tracker. The name is given through the prompt in the Animus Feedback System that appears for the activities, which have to be completed three times each.
