An elite hacker affiliated with the Assassins worked undercover for Dominika Wilk at Abstergo Industries by infiltrating their Nexus Eye Project.

Biography[]

In 2023, the hacker received a commission from the Assassins Rebecca Crane and Shaun Hastings to penetrate Abstergo's "Nexus Eye" project. Led by Dominika Wilk, the initiative aimed to extract code fragments from the Antikythera mechanism, merging them with the Animus to create a computer with the power to predict and influence human behavior. Dominika, unaware of the mole, tasked them to relive the genetic memories of a number of influential Assassin-affiliated figures at key historic points, namely, the misthios Kassandra the Eagle-Bearer during the Thirty Tyrants' reign over Athens at the end of the Peloponnesian War, the Italian Assassins' Mentor Ezio Auditore during the Renaissance, and the Colonial Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton prior to the Siege of Boston in the American Revolution.[1]

While seemingly compliant with their boss' orders, the hacker instead strategically placed logic bombs disguised as beacons within these memories to thwart Abstergo's fragment retrieval. Upon completing the last of Ezio's memories, Dominika exposed the hacker as a spy, but they were rescued by Rebecca and Shaun. The hacker delved into the last of Kassandra's and Ratonhnhaké:ton's memories while evading Dominika, culminating in a pursuit within a corrupted memory to locate the final fragment. After planting the last logic bomb, the hacker detonated it, obliterating the memories and dismantling the Nexus Eye. Despite this victory, Dominika tracked down the hacker, boasting of Templar success shortly before an Abstergo team captured them, ending the Assassins' fleeting triumph.[1]
