Assassin's Creed: Valhalla is the upcoming twelfth main installment in the Assassin's Creed series developed by Ubisoft.[1]
Release
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla was first teased in an easter egg for Tom Clancy's The Division 2 as a poster reading "Valhalla" with a viking character holding something very similar to an Apple of Eden.[2] On 29 April 2020, the game was officially announced by Ubisoft with an 8-hour livestream by Boss Logic. Its title and setting were revealed along with the world premiere air-time of a cinematic trailer.[3]
