In-game[]

Archived memories show that Kassandra travelled to Kephallonia, then to the Greek mainland where her involvement in the war began.
She ultimately sided with Sparta to defeat Athens at the Battle of Amphipolis, before dismantling the Cult of Kosmos—an organization seeking to manipulate the war for its own ends—by eliminating its leaders, including her own brother, Alexios.
The identified memories for analysis begin twenty years later, starting in 405 BCE when, with Athens and Sparta once again at war, Kassandra has pledged herself to the Spartan cause in the hope that the conflict can finally be brought to a close.

Memories stored in the Abstergo Cloud show how, following the arrest and execution of his family in a Templar plot, Ezio fled with his mother and his sister, Claudia, to Monteriggioni, where he was trained as an Assassin by his uncle Mario.
Ezio would eventually destroy the Italian Templars, avenge his uncle's death, and recover the missing pieces of a codex left behind by the Assassin, Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad.
Ezio's memories have been extensively catalogued by Abstergo, but recent research has revealed important sections of his life that are yet to be explored. The memories identified for analysis begin in the year 1509, when Ezio ventured to Venice, and then to Monteriggioni, on the trail of stolen family treasures and a mysterious thief.

Abstergo records show that Connor was befriended by the Assassin Achilles Davenport, who became his mentor and inducted him into the Brotherhood.
Later, Connor went on to aid the Revolutionary cause, protecting the Sons of Liberty during the Boston Tea Party and aiding Paul Revere ahead of the battles of Lexington and Concord.
Identified memories for analysis begin in the year 1775, when Connor has once again been contacted by Achilles, who seeks his friend's help in aiding the Patriots and countering the influence of the Templars in New England.
