Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 134 is the one hundred and thirty-fourth episode of Redice Studio's webtoon Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple, a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The webtoon, written by ARC and YEON and with art by Tabii, was released on 18 November 2025.
Plot synopsis[]
Madam Lee addresses the Zhang Wei Union members she just rescued from the Forgotten Temple's guardians. She claims that, although she would like nothing more than to wipe them off the face of the Earth, their chances of survival will increase if they work together. Thus, she proposes an alliance of convenience, supplying the Union members with gunpowder and ammunition for their weapons.
When Yun Pyeong-Gyu asks how they can be certain Lee will not backstab them, the madam remarks that she should be the one worrying about being betrayed. Yun takes offense to this and gives his word as a Confucian scholar that the Union will not break their agreement. He then instructs his fellow crew members to load their weapons with their new supply of powder as they prepare to withstand another assault from the guardians. Working together, the Union and the Nguyễn forces open fire on the approaching statues with their cannons, intending to keep them away from the Forgotten Temple for as long as possible.
Meanwhile, inside the temple, "Edward Kenway" and "John Young" are making their way towards the third and final control unit needed to open the pathway to the central elevator. While running through a corridor, John accidentally activates a booby trap and nearly falls into a spike-filled pit, but is fortunately saved by Edward. John then accuses Edward of bringing him along to spring all of the temple's traps and keep himself safe, only for Edward to reveal that he can see the traps with his Eagle Vision. He instructs John to follow him closely, but despite his best efforts, John ends up triggering nearly every trap along the way, from wall spikes to swinging axes.
Through sheer luck, John is able to avoid being killed as he and Edward arrive at the end of the corridor. With their path blocked and the walls closing in, John gives Edward a boost up before the latter tosses him a rope, allowing John to climb up as well and avoid being crushed. Having narrowly survived the traps, John takes a moment to catch his breath before asking why Edward went out of his way to help him. He remarks that it would be easier for Edward to just take his artifact and carry on without him, and cannot understand why the Assassin would inconvenience himself for his sake after everything he's done.
In response, Edward reminds John of their vow to see the end of their adventure together and claims that he still intends to uphold that promise. He also expresses his willingness to forgive John, telling him that, once their journey is over, he will have the freedom to choose his own destiny. With that, the pair resume their current mission and successfully activate the western control unit. This opens the pathway to the heart of the temple, just as Sigma Team reaches the core.
