Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 130 is the one hundred and thirtieth episode of Redice Studio's webtoon Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple, a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The webtoon, written by ARC and YEON and with art by Tabii, was released on 21 October 2025.
Plot synopsis[]
"Edward Kenway" and "Shimazu Saito" arrive at one of the Forgotten Temple's entrances, where Claire Zhang suddenly contacts Noa Kim via his earpiece. Noa tells Claire about his earlier run-in with the Assassins, including the fact that their leader handed him a strange device before parting ways, and Claire instructs him to turn it on. This allows DedSec to establish contact with Noa and explain that the device in his hand functions like a remote control for the temple, allowing him to access its internal systems.
As Noa, Shimazu Sei, and Claire's eagle drone enter the temple, they come across a locked door and a pedestal. Noa points his device at the pedestal, granting DedSec access to the temple's internal network and allowing them to open the doorway for him and Sei. Now inside the "real" temple, Noa and Sei begin to lose contact with Claire and DedSec due to the complex emitting an electromagnetic field. Fortunately, DedSec are able to match the field's frequency, bypassing the interference and restoring communications.
Meanwhile, outside the temple, Alan Jacob's men are setting up barricades as the Grand Master inquires about John Young's whereabouts. After being told that John was last seen leading troops into battle, Alan refuses to believe he has been killed and suspects that John is already inside the temple. Infuriated by his betrayal, Alan vows that John will get his "just deserts" once they find him and leads his men into the temple.
Entering the complex, the Templars fall prey to its illusions, which make it seem like they are still outside in the thick jungle. As a group of guardians ambush the Templars, Alan orders his men to open fire on their assailants while John observes the battle from an elevated platform. He realizes that his artifact protects him from the illusions, allowing him to perceive the temple in its real form, and reasons that the same must be true for the other two relics. Indeed, shielded from the temple's illusions by their respective artifacts, both the Chinese Assassins and Sigma Team navigate through the complex, racing to reach its heart first.

Behind the scenes[]
As he enters the Forgotten Temple, Edward makes a remark about this being his third time inside a Precursor site. While he previously found and documented a number of different sites, the only Isu Temples that Edward was ever seen entering were the Observatory and the Caribbean Vault, although it is possible that Edward may be counting his two visits to the Observatory separately.
After Noa and Sei enter the Forgotten Temple, Claire jokingly calls the former a "tomb raider", referencing the video game series of the same name.
