Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 107 is the one hundred and seventh episode of Redice Studio's webtoon Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple, a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The webtoon, written by ARC and YEON and with art by Tabii, was released on 13 May 2025.
Plot synopsis[]
Nagamasa greets Edward Kenway, Shimazu Saito, and Yun Pyeong-Gyu, who are floating in the Yangon River after their ship was sunk by the East India Company. Boarding Nagamasa's ship, Edward thanks the mercenary for saving their lives, to which Nagamasa jokes that he is no hero. He then reveals that, while they were away, his crew recruited a band of warriors from the Ayutthaya Kingdom who will help them rescue the Fenghuang from the attacking Company ships.
Immediately, the Ayutthayan warriors use their long-tail boats equipped with harpoons to board the enemy vessels, killing their crews and saving the Fenghuang. As Edward and the others return to the Fenghuang, Rupiya greets them before noticing John Young's absence. When he asks for John's whereabouts, Edward promises to explain everything while the others remain silent. The Assassin then gives the order to chase the retreating East India Company ship that is carrying John, refusing to let his friend "walk down the road to damnation".
Elsewhere, aboard Madam Lee's ship, Xiao Han begins to get dressed after having shared an intimate moment with the businesswoman. Lee asks Xiao Han about his reason for seeking the Pieces of Eden, pointing out the redundancy of trying to revive the long-collapsed Ming Empire. When Xiao Han responds that some tasks must be fulfilled regardless of their futility, Lee reveals that she has been listening to him speak in his sleep and that she knows the Assassin has had nightmares about his Brotherhood's purge. She then correctly deduces that Xiao Han is not driven by a sense of righteousness but by a desire to avenge his fallen comrades, even if it means going against the Assassins' Creed.
While Xiao Han remains silent, Lee embraces him from behind and remarks that Assassins like him and Edward are driven by a purpose higher than their own selfish gain, unlike herself. She then claims that it is not too late for Xiao Han to turn back from his current path, only for the Assassin to suddenly pin her down and state that he can not rest until his mission is accomplished. Seeing that she can not change Xiao Han's mind, Lee lets him know about her intentions to use him and his Brotherhood for her own gain, but promises that, in return, Xiao Han will be able to take anything he desires from her "wretched existence". With that, the two close in for a kiss and prepare to share another romantic moment.
Sometime later, Lee has arrived in Phú Xuân, Đại Việt, where she meets with a representative of the Nguyễn clan. Aware of the clan's ambitions to conquer the territory of the Khmer Kingdom, Lee offers to lend her support to their cause, revealing that she is in possession of an artifact whose powers will allow the Nguyễn lords to rule all of Indochina. All Lee asks for in return is the clan's aid to recover a similar artifact from Angkor.
When the Nguyễn official expresses skepticism towards Lee's claims, the businesswoman begins question if the clan's might is as great as she has been led to believe. Insulted, the official takes Lee outside to show her the strength of their military, boasting that it is far superior to that of the Trịnh lords in the north. He then asks to see the artifact Lee has spoken of, but the businesswoman says that she can not simply parade it around, unlike the Nguyễn military. However, she assures the official that she has the means to uphold her promise, at which point Xiao Han, Liu Qing, and Xue Yan jump down and reveal themselves. While the official is caught by surprise and remains speechless, Lee invites him to discuss the terms of their agreement.
