Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple Episode 105 is the one hundred and fifth episode of Redice Studio's webtoon Assassin's Creed: Forgotten Temple, a sequel to Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The webtoon, written by ARC and YEON and with art by Tabii, was released on 29 April 2025.
Plot synopsis[]
As Shimazu Sei holds the crescent amulet, Nathan Zhang, thinking she has gone rogue, aims his pistol at the doctor and orders her to drop the Piece of Eden. However, Sei uses the amulet's powers against Nathan, forcing him to stand down, then turns her attention to the incoming Sigma Team members. As Noa Kim questions her intentions, Sei claims that this is their only chance to escape and that she will slow down the Templars to buy Noa enough time to flee with the second artifact, which is inside the seaplane.
Knowing that Noa will fight until the bitter end, Sei puts her faith in him to help her accomplish her life's mission. As she uses the amulet to subdue the Sigma Team members, Sei tells Noa that, while he does not owe her anything, she nonetheless hopes that he will find and rescue her, so that they can see the end of their journey together. Noa vows to come back for Sei before Nathan's men drag him into the seaplane. As they take off, a Sigma operative fires a rocket launcher at the plane, narrowly missing.
After recovering from the amulet's effects, the Sigma operatives seize both Sei and the artifact and contact the Abstergo Industries headquarters. Despite their failure to secure Noa and the second Piece of Eden, the Templars are confident that they have the means to complete their mission, revealing their plan to place Sei in the Animus and use her genetic memories to find the third and final artifact.
Meanwhile, Noa, Nathan and his men arrive on an uncharted island, where they intend to lay low and hide from Abstergo for the time being. Nathan expresses his surprise at the fact that Sei sacrificed herself to allow them to escape and believes she did so because of her feelings for Noa, but the latter claims that Sei only wants him to help her finish her mission. Nathan points out that, as long as they keep the artifact currently in their possession out of Abstergo's reach, the Templars will be unable to accomplish their goal. However, Noa remarks that Abstergo will never stop hunting them and that they need to think about their next move carefully.
Realizing that, with or without the third artifact, the Templars will find a way to replicate its powers and achieve their end goal of a New World Order, Noa believes that they need to retrieve the Piece of Eden first. Despite already knowing the artifact's location in Angkor, Noa considers that they will be better prepared to recover it if they know what challenges Edward Kenway faced during his own quest for the Piece of Eden. As such, he enters the Animus HR-8 to continue exploring Edward's memories while Nathan and his men watch over him.
In the past, while sailing away from Yangon on a ship, Edward and Shimazu Saito show the Shwedagon Pagoda's artifact to Yun Pyeong-Gyu and John Young. Yun is excited to see how the Piece of Eden functions and activates it, causing it to project various symbols and images. After Edward deactivates the artifact, Yun decides to further research it and takes it into his cabin, asking not to be disturbed.
Left alone with Edward, John asks the Assassin if he believes the artifact could be used to resurrect the dead. Edward responds that it is possible, but warns John that the Pieces' powers are too dangerous and unstable for humans to wield, as they have both witnessed first-hand. He then thanks John for accompanying him on his journey, claiming that he would have never gotten so far without his help. Later that day, while Yun continues to study the artifact, he is suddenly approached from behind by John, who knocks him out with the butt of his pistol and seizes the Piece of Eden.
