Ash Creek referred to a region in New York.[1]
Geography[]
The area, through which a river ran, was partially occupied by a French outpost during the mid-17th century. The enwalled settlement consisted of a collection of buildings and warehouses, one of which was robbed of its supplies by the Templar Shay Cormac during the Seven Years' War. He also renovated a local barn situated away from the outpost. [citation needed]
Behind the scenes[]
Within the Northeast United States there exists two streams called Ash River, one in Connecticut near Bridgeport and another in New York near Herkimer. If this location is meant to be one of these the presence of French forces point towards it being the latter.
