Arsenius (died 47 BCE) was a Greek smuggler who operated in Cyrenaica during the 1st century BCE.
In 47 BCE, he was part of a scheme organized by Sminthos to steal loot belonging to the Black Crow, a smuggler ship which made frequent trips between Alexandria and Apollonia. However, he double-crossed Sminthos at the Sunken Shrine of Aristoteles, having planned to meet him there to split the loot. Arsenius and his men were later eliminated by the Medjay Bayek of Siwa, who helped Sminthos to recover the loot.[1]
