Archytas (435/410–360/350 BCE) was a Greek philosopher, mathematician and astronomer.
Archytas was a Pythagorean philosopher and taught at Plato's school, the Platonic Academy,[1] being the teacher of Eudoxos of Knidos, among others.[2]
