Yasuke visits the Katano Foothills to find Junjiro.

(If Naoe first visits Junjiro)
While exploring the Katano Foothills, Naoe heard noises coming from an elevated landform by the road.
Junjiro:(grunts) You can do it. Just like Naoe.
Naoe went up and found Junjiro training with a bokken.
Junjiro:Oh! I didn't hear you.
Naoe:What are you doing?
Junjiro:Nothing. Just, um, waiting for Yasuke. Let me know if you see him.
Naoe then left.
Later on, Yasuke came to meet Junjiro.
Junjiro:Yasuke! Master Sorin sent me a letter from Kii! I want to go and visit him while he's on his pilgrimage.
Yasuke:On your own?
Junjiro:I have to grow up. Take care of myself. Can you show me some samurai moves? That's how swordsmen start out their training, isn't it?
Yasuke:It is a bit more complex than that. But yes, if it pleases you. I will demonstrate.
Yasuke then got into position beside Junjiro.
Yasuke:Observe slowly. I first learned kata by watching my own teacher, Master Kamiizumi.
Junjiro:I'm watching!
Yasuke then begin the kata lesson.
Yasuke:Pay attention to your balance, your movement. Let the blade serve as an extension of your will.
Junjiro:Ohhh...
Having finished his lesson, Yasuke sheathed his sword.
Junjiro:Your form is really good, Yasuke, sir!
Yasuke:You do not have to be formal, Junjiro. We have talked about this.
From behind a large slab of stone, Naoe secretly listened in on the two men's conversation.
Junjiro:But... you're a samurai! And you're teaching me! Master Sorin told me to always show respect.
Yasuke:Master Sorin taught you much, it seems. But why do you want to study the sword? I have never seen this side of you.
Junjiro:I have to. It's my duty.
Yasuke:Is this about Naoe?
Junjiro:Yes. And what she did at Katano. I'll never forget. The night we met you. The night we were surrounded by soldiers. I couldn't talk or move or anything. Like I was a statue. But Naoe stayed with me. She could've run, but she didn't. She protected me. And I want to do the same for her. For all my family.
Yasuke:Is that how you see us, Junjiro? The allies?
Junjiro:Well, yeah! I mean, Naoe is like my sister, Tomiko is more like my auntie, and you're like my f- (gasps)
Yasuke:It is all right. How about we try the kata again? Together this time.
