Sometimes the Valhalla death screens are funny though. There was a bug while back that made Eivor suddenly fly so high that you could see the whole map from above and then you would just die. Was funny until it started happening constantly.
It's a good think Ubisoft eventually fixed it with a patch.
Yes that is true. AC had religious themes from the very start. In the first game for example Al Mualim spoke of Moses and Jesus, revealing that their miracles were nothing more than illusions created with the pieces of Eden. But it doesn't actually promote any religion. Rather, religion or religious figures are simply used as a plot device.
@Andrewh7 No sequel to Origins is confirmed anywhere. Assassin's Creed Empire is known to be a development code name for Origins. So I'm pretty sure he is just trolling.
Definitely Roman empire, but it must be set after the year 80 AD, because the colosseum wasn't finished before that date. In my opinion a Roman AC game without the Colosseum would be just a wasted opportunity.
I would also love it if the player character is a senator who is secretly a Hidden One. That would allow a new kind of game mechanic where you can influence Roman politics and kind of change the game world around you.
You could for example influence the senate into discrediting a powerful member of Order of The Ancients in public, causing him to lose some of his allies and making him easier to assassinate.
Yusuf was the goat. His death was also very sad, but at the same time it was also meaningful to the overall story of Revelations.
@ThePunisherMeetsSpidey Fun fact, Swedish Empire wouldn't have done so well in the war without Finland. That is sadly what most people tend to forget. The best elite soldiers of the Swedish Empire came from Finland. So if they include Sweden, they better mention these guys too.

Muspels are most likely gods from the Egyptian pantheon. It was confirmed a while back that Muspelheim is supposed to be North Africa, and possibly Middle East as well. Surtr could actually be Ra and his daughter could be Isis.
As for Vanaheim, my own personal theory is that Vanaheim represents Ireland and the Vanir are deities from the celtic pantheon.
Yes. If you use the default settings for keyboard and mouse, button 1 should be the right mouse button.
Anyway, today we will get the cinematic reveal trailer for it and the first official information.
Yes. Assassin's Creed Shadows is an RPG. It will have a massive map but the gameplay is said to be more stealth oriented than the previous RPG titles.
@Blixtkatt10 All the information known so far points it being set in the Holy Roman Empire during the 16th century. More specifically, it will be set in the area of Germany.
It is also known that Hexe is not a massive RPG. It will be a smaller more condensed title like Mirage.
@Violiina I can see what you mean though. I have a friend who is a witch and she has told me a lot about it. Then again I also like the dark satanistic imagery prevalent in popular culture depictions of witchcraft because I listen to a lot of heavy metal music.
So I'm kinda conflicted about it. I know it's wrong and innaccurate to depict witchcraft that way but at the same it also feels very much appealing to me.
@Violiina Well it is very much apparent in the teaser trailer already. The cryptic symbols around the pentagram have been deciphered by some fans and it forms a phrase that says something like "Mephisto, avenge us." In Germanic folklore Mephisto is a demon. Or in some cases its just another name for the devil.
Hexe should be interesting. All these leaks say that Elsa has some kind of supernatural witch powers. One leak mentioned she can possess certain enemies with some kind of dark magic and make them do as she commands.
Same leaker said she can also possess some animals such as cats and crows, and use them to distract enemies.
It was also said that the game will feature very dark horror aesthetics and may also possible include demons or devil worship in some form.
They actually nearly did this with the DLC content for Assassin's Creed II, Brotherhood, Revelations and III on PC. After shutting down the servers for those games, they were going to permanently remove access to all DLC for those games on PC.
But this caused such a huge backlash in the PC gaming community that they were forced to change their minds and make the DLC content available offline.
I have no idea. But there's a theory that he may be a some kind of mutated Isu, an experiment created by Loki and Aletheia. Or then he is quite simply a hybrid of the Scandinavian Isu and Greco-Roman Isu. It may be possible that the mixing of different cultures/races was not allowed in their society, which is why he was seen as an abomination.
It's very likely that Ubisoft will either forget Basim completely or just moves the Basim storyline to comics like they did with the Juno arc. Pretty much all the leaks say that the modern day story of the next games takes place in the far future with a new cast of characters.
However, if they do decide to include him in future releases, he will likely become a villain because he has fully accepted Loki. And Loki's primary motivation is to find his son Fenrir. Loki seems to believe that somehow his children might have survived the "great disaster".
We don't really know what Fenrir really is in the Isu lore. But since the norse mythology depicts him as a giant demonic wolf, I'd say he is something very evil.
I heard that Red will be much more stealth-oriented than the previous RPG titles. Supposedly you can snuff torches to create shadows where you can hide and hiding in bushes and tall grass is also upgraded in some way.
Meanwhile, combat in Red is said to be more brutal than ever. You can decapitate enemies or severe their limbs like in Valhalla but the devs have made it even more gory this time.
Red will apparently have less mythology in it, but some elements related to Japanese mythology and folklore are still present. A recent leak said the game will include Yokai. They are kind of malevolent shape-shifting spirits or demons. Most likely the Yokai will connect into the Isu storyline somehow.
As for the present day element, it is tied to the Infinity platform and is mostly optional. The present day story is said to take place in the future this time, between 2090-2099. While Hexe will supposedly take this even further by going hundreds of years into the future.
Kassandra. Everything about her is just perfection.
@Violiina Well you brought it up first by mentioning you look younger than you are. Also, it is not a bad thing to look 10 years younger.
