I'm very nostalgic of Ac2 and Brotherhoods music but I think I love the colonial music the most. Between the OST, the tavern music and the sea shanties. I love that style and those soundtracks the most.

If Rome wasn't 2/3 land and only 1/3 city, I would have liked it better. Because of that AC2 is better. Venice is pretty big plus you get Florence, Monterigioni and a few other locations.
Venice imo is the best city in the franchise imo. If Rome had a bigger city it'd be a tied contender for number one.

Connor or maybe Shay.
Ezio got ruined in Revelations when he killed civilians in Cappadocia.
Altair killed an innocent man in his very first appearance in AC1.
Edward was a pirate for much of his life.

Well I voted Haytham but he's more of a protagonist/antagonist than a side character.
Leonardo would probably be my vote otherwise.

If they combined the control and player agency of the Ezio Trilogy,
Connors running animation and weighty feel while he does parkour and tree branch physics of AC3,
and finally Unitys diagonally wall running start, its controlled descent button and the stylish animations from the Kenway Trilogy, Unity and Syndicate. I think that would be a damn near perfect system in my opinion.
It would be combining the best elements we got with each parkour system from their respective eras.

Generally in AC Games, the Assassin's are the more moral faction compared to the Templars. In most games there is some degree of moral grey except in AC2, Brotherhood and Syndicate which is pretty Black and White.
One of the biggest criticisms I've seen for Rogue is that it makes the Assassin's the bad guys and the Templars the good guys as opposed to previous games. However it wasn't the first AC game to do this. The Assassin's of Revelations were arguably worse than the Templars.
The game makes out Byzantines were made out of be Templars and the "villains" despite the country getting raped and pillaged hundred years before. You would think that the Assassin's would help the people being oppressed and conquered. Meanwhile the Ottoman Empire are painted as the good guys and supported by the he Assassins despite the fact they were slave owning, war mongers and invaders.
And in Rev, Ezio blows up the gunpowder in Cappadocia which leads to hundreds of innocent people suffocating and dying just so he could kill one guy. He blows up the great chain and then proceeds to burn down multiple boats in the bay. Ezio starts the riot which lead to many civilian causalities using them as a human shield at the Arsenal gate. So the stay my blade from the flesh if the innocent Tenet was broken many times. And there were no repercussions.
And as flawed as Rogues writing of Assassin's was, I'd make the argument that you could say Achilles was as arrogant as Altair was at the start of AC1 when he broke the 3 tenets. But he got demoted by Al Mualim and Altair wasn't in charge of his brotherhood. Achilles was the leader of his brotherhood branch, and his arrogance led them down the wrong path. But with Revelations, you got the brotherhood including Master Assassin Ezio supporting a slave-owning and aggresive empire.
Assuming it took place in the American Colonies or maybe Europe. What places would you like to see in the hypothetical game? And what characters would you like to see make a reappearance?
What new city's and areas in America or Europe would you like to see the hypothetical game take place in?

I was alluding to the fact that you'd have Thor with his first mate Heimdall
