In assassins creed 3 connor can talk to his assassin recruits in the taverns. One of the conversations with deborah is about connor not being married. He says he doesn't have time to dedicate to a wife but maybe after his missions are done, she says when the time comes to give her first crack at it and he says aye go for it (i'm paraphrasing). Connor seems like a pretty straight faced, honest dude so would he settle with her after his missions are done? They aren't that far back from desmond and miles as far as generations go so maybe. And having both folks in the assassins helps with desmonds upbringing in an assassin compound. Just a thought.
