Well the choice is obvious the Assassins
They may be "Assassins" but at least they aren't like the Templars who want to take over the world.
The Assassins may not always be the good guys (As I am finding out by playing Rogue and another example is when they supported the communist takeover of Russia) but from what I've read most of the time they are and again they fight to ensure people have free will and the Templars with their insane philosophies are in no way the Good Guys.

But we have heard about the Assassin who killed Calugia and it would be cool to play as him. This would take place in the early Imperial era

So basically the game completely takes place in the modern era and focuses on the final battle between the Assassins and Templars.
I'd like a game like this where somehow the Public becomes aware of the Underground war and the Isu, maybe the Templars emerge from the Shadows and reveal a final Master Plan to take over the world. The Assassin's have to take down the Templar high command and kill the general of the cross thereby destroying the Templar Order once and for all!
Just an Idea, But I strongly suggest that they use this idea for when they make their final Assassin's Creed Game

So I read about the Isu and how basically humans worshipped them and they became the modern Gods we worship today (I.E. Yawai/Allah, Amun-Ra, Shiva, Zeus,/Jupiter etc.) However despite the Isu not really being gods do you think that gods or a god may exist in AC? I like to think so, I like to think that The Christian God exists in this universe and created the Isu (Because I myself am a Christian) Anyway so do you think there are actual Gods out there or is it just the Ancient Aliens from the History Channel at 3AM (I.E. The Isu)
