Now that ACU is relevant again, is there any chance they make an Arno sequel? They could feature the Napoleonic Wars, visiting Germany, Austria, Belgium, etc. Maybe we could have a prologue in Egypt.

I was wondering the same but in Odyssey. I think I've only like 4 tombs left to complete them all but they only seem to give me ability points. I hope they give me a trophy or something.
I wouldn't mind having both games, but if I got to choose, it'd be Rome because as I said in another thread, there would be no high places to climb (aside from mountains) and there were no cities in those times, and cities are important for the games.
Tbh, I think that before doing Vikings, they should do Rome, Feudal Japan and Medieval England/France/Spain.
I doubt the game would be strong enough to include France, the British Isles, Iceland and Scandinavia. The problem with those high places is that they'd be mountains and tree branches, and that'd get boring after jumping from a few of them.
If I get to choose my top 3 locations, it'd be Ancient Rome (as I said above, with a little bit of the Germanic Kingdoms, the Alps and maybe a prologue in Egypt or Greece), Feudal Japan and Russia/India/anywhere in South America, maybe Argentina during the revolution against Spain or Aztec/Incan/Mayan times.
About Nepal... I don't know? Idk much about it but that might work.
The problem with vikings is that they were nomades and didn't live in cities, but huts. What would you climb in that kind of game? You would only explore the landscapes of Norway, which is nice, but cities are needed too.
I really want Ancient Rome to happen (according to leaks, the next game is Ancient Rome, but lately, some people have said it's vikings).
Just imagine: exploring the greatness of Italy and its landscapes, going back to Florence (I believe it was a little town back at the times of Marcus Aurelius, where the game is supposed to take place) but still.
As you said, the Alps would be amazing but can they make the Alps + Italy?
Lastly, I'd add a bit of the Germanic Kingdoms (I think that was their name) in the game or in a DLC.
PS: A prologue in Egypt or Greece would rock
I want the longest because I want to play a long game so I save money for another game in the meanwhile.
Btw, thanks for replying!
Can someone tell me the order of the duration of every AC game? Please tell me from longest to shortest.
YES. YES. YES.
Although I'm not sure if they'd find an interesting setting, as Rome wasn't very interesting back then. They should do something with Commodus, Nero or Caligula.
I was thinking a good sequel could be in Jerusalem or Judea during the times of Jesus Christ, but Bayek would be like 80 when he was born, and like 110 when Jesus died.
Am I the only one who noticed many similarities between Assassin's Creed and Horizon Zero Dawn? (This article contains spoilers from both games, so beware :P)
Let's see
*Both games talk about great catastrophies
*Both have advanced technology (did Elisabeth Sobeck create GAIA with Isu technology?)
*The Focus is like Eagle Vision
I guess I'll update this once HZD2 comes out for PS5.
After Legion, where do you think the next trilogy will be set? My money is on Asia (Japan, India and somewhere else. Maybe China?)
Going back to Rome in Modern Day might happen, as the next game will be set in the Roman Empire.
I've only played Origins (about to finish Odyssey) but I think that the Altaïr game, the Ezio trilogy and Black Flag would be the best choices to make films, or even a TV series! (that'd rock).
I was wondering if there could make other AC films but telling stories from the games, like Altaïr's story or Ezio's. I haven't found anything but I hope there are rumors.
I wouldn't mind if it's connected to Origins tbh.
@Achaenus, Leonius killed Caligula :P
I don't know if there's a good setting for a Bayek sequel. I don't think there's enough content unless they go and visit Caligula, Nero, Commodus and stuff. Sadly, we might never get a Bayek sequel.
However and hopefully, we'll get another DLC for him and Aya. I wouldn't mind flashbacks in Legion.
By the way, I doubt Legion will be the final name of the game. "Origins" was originally "Empire" and "Odyssey" was "Dynasty", so they might change it. However, Legion seems very specific unlike Empire and Dynasty.
Word on the street is that the next game will be called "Legion" and will be set during the downfall of Marcus Aurelius and the reign of Commodus in Ancient Rome. You allegedly play as Cassius or Lucia, descendants of Bayek and Kassandra would appear too. It's going to be developed by Ubisoft Sofia and will be released in 2020.
To be honest I'd like to play with Bayek and Aya again during early times in the Roman Empire. I'd prefer if it's during the reign of Nero (Caligula too).
These would be the features I'd add:
-A fighting system as good as Odyssey and Origins
-The return of Kassandra
-Naval battles returning
-Good development in the characters
-Good developers, like Ashraf Ismail
-A bigger world than Odyssey's
-Having flashbacks or minor quests in Greece and Egypt
-References to ACII and Brotherhood
I think that's all I'd like to see. I'd like to have dialogue options too but it throws off the board the development of the characters, as it'd be subjective. Tell me what you'd like to see!
I began playing Odyssey yesterday and I know I want to help Athens instead of Sparta. I just met Kassandra's adopted brother (I don't remember his name) and Nikolaos.
My problem is that I don't know if I just go and kill Spartans or there's an specific choice of "Help Athens" or something. Can you help me?
Is the Ezio remake "The Ezio Collection"?
I'm not really sure if I want a Medieval-set game (mostly England) because there are a lot of games like that, like The Witcher saga, to name one (although that's a fictional world).
Right now I want one in the Roman Empire, and then, Feudal Japan/China. Vikings and a game in South America featuring countries like Argentina, Brasil, Peru and more would rock too.
And if they ever do a game in the Medieval times, I think they should do a big map that includes England, Scottland, Ireland and Wales. Otherwise, the map would be short imo.
I think it'd be cool, but there are other games to do first, like a Roman Empire game, Feudal Japan, etc.
I'd personally love a remake of the Ezio/Altäir games.
