The only time they did dual releases was when targeting different console generations anything else would be franchise fratricide. They will most likely reveal the final title about six months before release which most people understand to be autumn 2027.

The Hexe announcement was a bit of an anomaly since it coincided with news about the Animus Hub. Otherwise it would have never been teased so early. Generally AC games are announced about 6 months before release so this is standard for Ubisoft.
Wished they'd better incorporated previous lore, making all of act 2 take place over the course of 12 days was weird, even in canon mode the narrative style is janky and lackluster making the character dynamics really weak.
