This series has gone really far away from what it was at the beginning. I have a lot of friends who share with me that the series needs to reboot immediately. This game just lost everything it stood for and was liked for. No stealthy settings, no specific combat system suited for the idea of the game, and the story just went horribly wrong. Really? Ancient Egypt? Ancient Greece? And now the Vikings? It is not a hystory journal through the ages, and definitely not documentary programm on the History Channel. The order was created in Persia and later in Syria, and was broken by the Mongols. It's history lasted for about 300 years. And that's it. I'm not saying that the Ezio saga and ac3 were bad. I'm just saying that the next titles strayed too far from the original idea. What I think should happen is a reboot. Back to Altair and the crusades, when it all started. And you know what? No First Civilization crap anymore. Focus on the history, and create a game so big, that they won't need to make a new game for 3 years at least. Back to Altair, back to Saladin. Even begin with Altair's childhood. New combat system, something that will really make you feel like an Assassin. A reboot is urgently needed.

Ok, I’ll admit that Odyssey did have its flaws such as facial animations, and its RPG elements. But I personally loved this game.
