No, since Gods don't exist in the Assassin's Creed Universe, they're simply advanced beings that predated humanity, their technology and structures left behind for humans to find and theorize upon in the future and subsequently not being able to comprehend such findings, thus, deeming them as "magic" or "contraptions of the gods" which, is just a misrepresentation of the Isu and their remains, spawning different religions across the world in their names and image.
PANTEISM and BUDHISM are basically The Same Religion.
In AC, Budha was an Isu.
Both Budishm an Panteism teach how The Universe Works.
The Universe = God / God = The Universe
The Universe is God and God is The Universe
PANTEISM(+ Budhism) can be The Religion of The Isu, because The Isu knew How The Universe Works.
Pantyism?
Still, that's a human interpretation, it is never mentioned if the Isu had knoweldge of how the Universe work, our solar system? Maybe, they threw an Apple out in Space but not really with the intention to explore anything since they were too busy fighting against each other or the Humans they created.
The Isu are not cosmic entities, they can bleed, they are godless, they just appeared and created their civilization out of Silica and Adamant they managed to refine and channel its energetic properties that somehow those elements had in their cores.
All in all, buddha, christian and whatnot, sorry.
It's just a human concept to try and understand something that escapes our understanding.
The Isu were just the ones who got the iPhone early and they teached their creation how to use it. We know how it ended.
Assassins creed doesn’t need to have religious stuff in it so no.
@Agent 460 That's not the point.
I understand where you're coming from, but let's not forget that Assassin's Creed has always involved religious themes in their stories across history, it's inevitable.
But not in a way that it promotes it, which is what I'm trying to say here, the Isu are not deities.
They were just on Earth before us.
Yes that is true. AC had religious themes from the very start. In the first game for example Al Mualim spoke of Moses and Jesus, revealing that their miracles were nothing more than illusions created with the pieces of Eden. But it doesn't actually promote any religion. Rather, religion or religious figures are simply used as a plot device.
