Darby mentioned it like a year or two ago but that was before a different team worked on Dawn of Ragnarok which didn’t really point to characters like Surtr being specific individuals from any North African or Middle Easter pantheons so who knows if that is still the plan.
I'm glad to see that someone shares the same opinion of the pantheons in AC as me.
That said, it raises the question if the Egyptian gods are Isu, just like the others, or purely invention. Since they only showed up as glitches in the Animus.
