Hello everyone, I apologize for the late reply as I was trying to think of a more thoughtful response other than "I appreciate you raising these concerns everyone". With that having been said, I appreciate you raising these concerns everyone because we definitely have a manpower problem here at our wiki. We do have other staff, but to be entirely transparent, I'm the only one who moderates this discussion platform, so your consideration towards relieving my burden is also touching. To be honest, you guys are too kind to me. T_T
I agree that, for this reason, we most certainly should have more moderators, especially those who are amiable to this platform and who have a connection to other individuals who frequent here. We have had global moderators here before, but the problem is that heated incidents in the past have tended to happen spontaneously after long intervals of relative calm, during which moderators grow lax and lose investment. Even I am guilty of this at times. The inconsistencies in the application of rules that Bashenga pointed out is generally attributable to the delays in reaction time to posts in violation of the guidelines due to limited manpower. In light of this, I think that the solution should be to promote as moderators those who already have a passion for this particularly board and would be around even during periods of ease.
Rest assured, I will consult with the other staff and with Atvelonis more about this. Thank you everyone, especially JustWild03 once again for taking the initiative to raise these concerns and show how much you guys care about this community. ^_^
