Ok so I wanted to add to a past conversation regarding the "a Unity in Odyssey" (or whatever) qoute from Ubisoft Big Chair, and fully lay out what I also think this could all mean. Previous Convo: http://assassinscreed.wikia.com/d/p/3116142931476488006 So outside of what one of the "Four Pillars" (or whatever) had pretty much layed out what he feels the quote means (sited within the post above)- WHAT I THINK...I could also mean is that we can see elements from Unity & Odyssey in the new AC game. Not really all that shocking or surprising idea, honestly; especially when you consider the fact that all AC games carry similar elements and borrow from each other. But to take it a step further.... "AC: Kingdom" is supposed to take place during the Viking Age (793-1066CE/8th Century-11th Century CE), which is in the heart of the Middle Ages (5th-15th Centuries CE)- a time of large castles and large naval exploration & conquest and more. So Id wager we can expect to see Unity & Syndicate style buildings and cities, while also being able to sale the seas to different areas like in Odyssey & Black Flag. Of course this is after the time of Origins, which means the Hidden Ones would probably still be in operation and may actually lead us into the time of the Assassin's Creed of Masyaf (11th-13th Centuries CE). So I hope that, somehow- however this all connects- that stealth & assassination is better, for #1. No doubt, since AC/Ubisoft wants to go forward with full on RPG, we can also expect the whole Odyssey approach in full effect...but considering the quote, I think this also means we'll see a return of multiplayer- which really was one of the big focusses of Unity; and again since Ubisoft copies elements from all their games, "For Honor", no doubt is also an inspiration behind the Viking choice and may also influence the choice to bring multiplayer back (which I dont really care for). Ill stop there...these are just theories, trying to be hopeful about the CEO statement and more. What are your thoughts?
