I kinda it’s ok and not ok
I kinda it’s ok and not ok
It depends if you want to know some things before assassin's creed 3
I wouldn't skip
It's the only game that allows you to play as a Templar and see the war from the Templars perspective. It's great if you want a better idea of the war and why the Templars fight.
Ahhh, ok thank you!!!
It's cool it wasn't even that relevant to the story
I would not only say it is fine to skip Rogue, I would highly recommend it. Only play Rogue if you're a hardcore fan and want to follow everything in the lore. Otherwise, if you're a more casual fan, it's probably in your interests to skip it.
Part of the reason is that the game derails the lore by strawmanning the Assassins and Templars. The Templars' perspective is never really presented other than them being superficially the good guys by being your friends, and the protagonist even joins them partially because he misunderstands the Assassin worldview as what the Templars actually desire and because the Assassins in the game violate their Creed, which therefore doesn't say anything about the validity or defects of their philosophy.
The notion that the game presents a Templar perspective is false advertisement. It will only appear that way superficially, and you might come away from the game more confused than ever.
The game also ties into unity
Ahh, Thanks everyone! I love Assassin’s Creed but I find it confusing most of the time 😘
Depends on if you like Templar Lore or want to know more about the Kenways and Colonial America and the Caribbean or not. It also depends on if you want more Black Flag style gameplay. The average gamer could skip it, but someone interested in anything i mentioned or the Irish protagonist (Shay Cormac) and his story of how he started off as an Assassin and switche sides might want to try it.
I personally played it and enjoyed it. It's a short game if you only play the main story, so it didn't take too much time. That said, I really wanted the "reverse AC" experience where YOU get hunted by Asssassins and you have to find people trying to assassinate a target rather than being the Assassin, so I enjoyed this game for what it was.
The fact that I wanted to play as a Templar didn't hurt either. That said, it wasn't a perfect game and had its flaws, and didn't dive that deeply into the Templars or the Assassins all that much imho, and the story can be a little bit of a downer too.
I would nevr and havent missed or skipped one of dem i have all dem
No definitely not. You shouldn't skip it.
