Dear user please don't simply add a youtube link and leave your post open for comments that are meant to be in the comment section of the youtube video. Please write 2-3 lines describing the video..
User? Who are you talking too? You know we all have usernames right? Three lines about a soundtrack? That just not reasonable. What would say about a soundtrack. There's only so much to say about a soundtrack. I just wanted to share the soundtack so others here could hear it and I want to here there thought about it. I am so close to leaving the wiki because all these new changes that are added and no one is told about and we are expected to follow. This rule is not even in the guidlines. How are we supposed to know? I am just not going to post videos here any more.
Losing you as a user would be great loss for AC wiki. No doubt. But we can't stop you. It's a youtube video. If you are posting it anywhere you are supposed to write the name of the youtube channel and what exactly is that sound tract about.. simply posting a youtube video link is considered as invalid..
Well you see that's different I understand giving credit to the youtuber who made the video. That's not what you said in your original post. I can't edit the post anymore so it's too late now.
Well I specifically said 2-3 lines about the video.. that includes any kind of information about the video..
And by user I was talking to the one who made the post that is you..
And I was telling giving you that information for future..
Obviously you were talking to me. I have a username though. Just deleted the post if it is such a problem. I can't edit the post anymore. I was just trying to get everyone excited for assassin's creed origins launch. I wasn't trying to break any unwritten guidelines.
We don't need you to write three lines about a soundtrack. I told Reverb frost to try to stimulate a bit more discussion (you know, because this is Discussions) in these posts, rather than people just saying 'cool' or 'great' and this becoming dead-end.
That's not such a bad thing, is it?
Now see, personally, I think this might be the best soundtrack since Revelations. Jesper Kyd's work has always been top notch for me and nothing has been able to top it ever since. His music just really elevates the mood, and no game soundtrack since Revelations has been able to do that. I've been coming back to listen to these Origins tunes several times now, that's no doubt a good sign.
Ya I like this soundtrack so far too. I still perfer assassin's ceeed 2 soundtrack and other preivous titles a bit more like you do. Mainly because it's iconic to the series. I wish origins soundtrack had some sort of call back to the older games like a rendition of ezio family. They are composed by different composers though. Origins soundtrack was composed by the same composer as blackflag. I think it fits with the setting of the game at least. I want to discuss that's why I posted the video but nobody had anything to say except that's cool or something along those lines. Im a always willing to discuss assassin's creed. I think I have made that clear by how often I am here and participating. I can't really control how people respond to my posts. I am not upset of coarse and Im sorry if it seemed like if I was being disrespectful. I wasn't trying to be.
I'm pretty sure there is an "Ezio's Family (Origins Version)" in the game, or at least it was produced I think? I personally think they're overdoing it on Ezio's Family a bit. I associate it with Ezio more than AC in general, so I'd prefer to have more original compositions made myself. Like Connor's Life from AC3, which I really consider Connor's theme.
And yeah, this is definitely shaping up to be equally mood-elevating as the elder soundtracks. Saw Sarah Schachner (the composer) say in an interview she really wanted to bring back that feeling from the old soundtracks and she's succeeding so far. You definitely know what place you're in when you hear these soundtracks.
Ezio's family is associated with ezio I agree. I guess Ezio was just such big part of the series for me that I just felt like the song is almost like a theme to the entire series. I just like the feeling of nostalgia every time I hear a rendition of ezio's family. I seen a list of song titles for origins and it does have a rendition of ezio family. The soundtrack has very Egyptian feel to it thats for sure.
